Why Northern Ireland??

 Why Northern Ireland

Why Northern Ireland? Why travel around this country when you can go abroad and be immersed in hot weather, delicious food and a new culture, but there's so much you are missing if you just brush Northern Ireland off your list because you live here or scoffing at the idea of visiting. This small country has so much to offer, as you can see from my previous blog posts (shameless self promotion). In these six counties there is so much to still explore, and personally I hope to get to more sights as the future goes. Once my life calms a bit and the sunshine starts popping up again, I have my itinerary planned. But that isn't to say that I'm going to wait around for 5 months, there is still so much to see leading up to Christmas, such as the Christmas markets, which I will be hopefully talking about in the next few weeks.

Places I hope to visit:

Ice Skating - Dundonald International Ice Bowl - This is top of my to do list!! I can't wait to go ice skating and complete one of my bucket lists. I have only been once before and it was so much fun I can't wait until I can go again.

Christmas Markets - Belfast - I'm so excited to be able to go this year, especially as last year was cancelled. I can't wait to explore the area and try all the amazing food and more. I already have my eye set on buying some delicious fudge.

Derry - Slightly inspired by Derry girls, I can't wait to be able to get the train ( a two hour journey mind you!) and explore this area. I have put it off for so long due to the long journey but not any more, 2022 is my year for accomplishing all of these trips!

Marble Arch caves - Although not as exciting as Ice skating, I would love to visit these caves and see the area. I'm a sucker for history and geography, and love ogling at natural creations.

Top 10 best restaurants in Belfast - I have decided to also explore and expand my taste and try the top ten best rated restaurants in Belfast. I can't wait to try some of these restaurants and will be reviewing them for your ease, so you can choose the best one possible to suit you.

Grand Opera House - Last but not least, I hope to be bale to book a musical and watch the performance in this beautiful building. This is definitely on my bucket list and it will be ticked off by the end of 2022, with an accompanying blog post.

Well there you have it, my next places I am eager to visit. I can't wait to share all my wonderful experiences and thoughts with you. If you happen to visit before me or have already been, don't be afraid to comment your own tips and experiences, or drop a message on my socials.
